The start and end destination of the tour is Florence, the gorgeous Renaissance city of Italy famous for its beautiful architecture. The tour begins at the elegant Villa Cora, a magnificent building set on a hill overlooking the Boboli Gardens, a short distance from Florence’s historic city centre and main attractions. From Florence you’ll begin your drive southwards to a charming hotel in the Chianti countryside – Hotel Le Fontanelle – with lovely views over the unspoilt countryside, a pool and spa, winery, and excellent restaurants. The second day behind the wheel of your car takes you further south into Val d’Orcia – arguably the most photographed area of Tuscany – before an overnight stop in the medieval town of Siena at Grand Hotel Continental Siena, located in the heart of the historic centre. Your final drive takes you back to the outskirts of Florence through more breathtaking landscapes, concluding the road trip at the beautiful Villa La Massa overlooking the Arno river – a haven of peace with a luxurious spa.
